Becoming a mother CHANGES EVERYTHING. When my first daughter was born, I went back to work at my corporate job after only 6 weeks! Looking back, I now realize that was truly the beginning of my journey into becoming an entrepreneur. I quickly learned that traditional workplace cultures, schedules and pay weren’t created with working mothers in mind.

Creating your own business can be profitable and sustainable. I know because I’ve done it myself multiple times, AND I’ve done so through economic upheaval during the pandemic, a natural disaster, and financial hardship - all while raising my two amazing young daughters. I’ve had to pivot more than once, and guess what? I'm still standing!
